Melanie was a  registered Massage Therapist and now offers Relaxation Massage from her private studio on the property.  Yes you can make a relaxing massage part of your stay. Although its close location to Nanaimo may make it feel more commercial compared to other Gulf Islands, its art scene, impressive sights and fun activities make it worth visiting if you're travelling around Vancouver Island. With Gabriola's expanded ferry service, getting to the island is easier than ever and can be done as a day trip from Nanaimo.

Gabriola Bed and Breakfasts Welcomes You.  A large 20 foot by 12 foot recently renovated room that looks out to Silva Bay.  A charming room with a lovely views of the bay and soaring birds. Blackout curtains, new fir floor, foldout sitting couch and king size bed make this B and B a pleasure to stay at. We also have TV, WiFi, private bathroom and a small fridge in the room for drinks, leftovers and breakfast items.

Cost is $200/night. There is a $50 cleaning fee. Children under 12 free. 3+ person Max.

Gabriola Bed and Breakfast Refund Policy:

Full refund* for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund* for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund* up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that. *minus any bank fees – credit card transactions have a 3% charge each way

Gabriola B & B at Silva Bay is Gabriola Island's newest vacation accommodation. Dave and Melanie Teichroeb are proud to open their home with a brand new Bed and Breakfast. A boutique, Gulf Island experience with fantastic views of Silva Bay, parking and privacy.

Situated a 10 minute walk from the Gulf Island Sea Plane terminal at Silva Bay, Gabriola B & B is ideally situated for travellers to Gabriola  from Vancouver International Airport(YVR). By car a 15 minute drive on North Road from the Nanaimo - Gabriola Island ferry.

Located on the chill end of Gabriola Island near parks, marinas, food trucks, kayaking and a food liquor store.

Gabriola Island is 20 minute ferry ride from Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, BC. It is also a 20 minute float plane ride from South River Terminal at Vancouver International airport(YVR).

More Information

Includes a spacious room with King size bed, fold out sofa and private 4 pc bath. Accessed by your own walkway and entrance you create the experience you want. A breakfast menu will be arranged at time of booking. Other amenities are fridge, coffee maker and hot water for tea. As well there is small private deck with more great views of Silva bay. Parking is included for several cars if required.

Gabriola Island

is one of the Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia in British Columbia (BC), Canada. It is about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) east of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, to which it is linked by a 20-minute ferry service. It has a land area of about 57.6 square kilometres (22.2 sq mi) and a resident population of 4,500.[1]

Gabriola has public beaches and forests, shopping centres, restaurants, a library, an elementary school and a museum. It is known as the Isle of the Arts due to its high percentage of working artists, and its many cultural events include annual festivals related to art, poetry, gardens, music, boating and fishing. The Gabriola Arts Council produces three large annual events: the Isle of the Arts Festival (April), Cultivate Arts Festival (Summer) and Thanksgiving Studio Tour (October).
